Job summary

The Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln, IL is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced acute care setting. You will assess patients and develop individualized perioperative plans, coordinating with the team throughout surgery.

Requirements include an Illinois RN license, BLS within 30 days, and ACLS within one year. Benefits include PTO, medical/dental/vision, 401(k), and ongoing education opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Illinois is required.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certification required within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care, performing assessments and planning care.
• Administer medications and IV therapies per orders.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses and discharge plans.
• Lead and coordinate care by supervising LPNs and aides.
• Identify and mitigate safety risks to ensure a secure environment.
• Support quality improvement and best-practice initiatives.
