Job summary

SCA Health in Savannah, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room to support a patient-centered perioperative program. You will work with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to promote the mission and deliver high-quality perioperative care.

Requires RN licensure, OR/medical-surgical experience, and compliance with BLS/ACLS/PALS as applicable. Certification in perioperative nursing is preferred. This is an on-site role with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One year of OR and/or medical / surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standings.
• BLS within 90 days of employment or current BLS certification.
• ACLS within 90 days of employment or current ACLS certification.
• PALS certification required if pediatric care is included within 90 days of employment or documentation of current PALS certification.
• Perioperative nursing specialty certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
