Job summary

Qualifications

• English language proficiency is required for direct patient care.
• Graduate of an approved nursing program with ACEN/CCNE accreditation.
• State license to practice as a registered nurse upon appointment.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-operative/procedural care including nursing assessment and H&P validations.
• Incorporate IV therapy and venipuncture as part of perioperative care.
• Assist with surgical site preparation, medication administration, and post-anesthesia care monitoring.
• Provide preoperative teaching and discharge instructions to patients and families.
• Maintain thorough documentation in the EHR and ensure timely updates.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support safe, high-quality nursing care.
