Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates' degree or higher in nursing.
• BSN within three years of hire where applicable.
• Florida RN license and BLS required.
• ACLS/PALS may be required after 2024 per policy.
• Preferred: BSN and specialty certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to surgical patients using the nursing process.
• Maintain accountability for assigned patients and coordinate with care team.
• Act as charge nurse when assigned and supervise other staff.
• Adhere to hospital policies and Florida Nurse Practice Act in patient care.
