Job summary

Atrium Health Union West in Matthews, NC, is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room. You will work with surgeons, anesthesiologists and perioperative staff to deliver safe, patient-centered care from admission through recovery.

The OR team performs diverse surgeries and values teamwork, patient safety and clinical excellence. Completion of a nursing program and an active RN license plus BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, evidence-based care.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the perioperative continuum.
