Job summary

HonorHealth’s Thompson Peak Medical Center in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a COORDINATOR-PERIOPERATIVE RN to assist with coordination and overall management of perioperative services in the OR Main.

The position requires RN circulating OR experience, 4-10 hour day shifts, and the ability to collaborate with physicians, staff, and patients. A $20k sign-on bonus is available to eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Associates Diploma required.
• 2 years RN experience required.
• 2 years as a perioperative nurse (OR, Preop/Pacu, Endo) required.
• 1–2 years experience in a specialty preferred.
• BCLS certification required; Driver's license required; RN licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate perioperative patient care and staff to ensure availability of supplies and equipment for surgery.
• Coordinate communication between physicians, patients, families and health care team.
• Participate in ongoing education, quality improvement activities and orientation of new personnel.
• Support planning, teaching and evaluating staff performance within the unit.
• Maintain regulatory educational requirements and inventory control for the department.
