Job summary

The Staff Pad is partnering with a reputed hospital in Russellville, AR to hire a compassionate Operating Room Circulator RN for the Surgical Services team. You will deliver perioperative nursing care from pre-op to post-op and collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team.

In this PRN role, you will help maintain sterile technique, ensure surgical readiness, and support safe patient outcomes in a fast-paced OR environment.

Qualifications

• BLS, Hospital-based ACLS and PALS required.
• Active RN license in good standing.
• OR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care for patients of all ages.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Maintain sterile fields, surgical instruments, and supplies.
• Support surgical and anesthesia teams before, during and after procedures.
• Perform accurate sponge, sharps, and instrument counts in accordance with AORN standards.
• Properly handle and label surgical specimens.
• Maintain up-to-date surgeon preference cards and surgical readiness.
• Mentor and support new staff and nursing students.
• Ensure infection control and patient safety standards.
