Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care across all age groups, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care. You will coordinate care with the nursing team and ensure adherence to standards of practice.

New graduates are eligible. Current Georgia RN license or NLC/eNLC multistate license and BLS certification are required. Bachelor’s degree and specialty certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• New Graduates eligible.
• Current License in Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License. BLS certification required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum).

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff to provide quality nursing care.
• Maintain standards of practice and demonstrate professional growth and accountability.
