Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a staff nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care across the patient lifecycle. The role requires adherence to organizational policies and continuous professional growth while coordinating care among assigned staff.

Minimum GA RN licensure or NLC/eNLC multistate license and BLS certification are required; new grads are eligible, with PRN roles favoring some hospital experience. A bachelor’s degree and advanced certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• New graduates eligible.
• Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
• BLS certification required.
• For PRN positions: One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using the nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff.
• Maintain standards of practice and accountability at all times.
