Qualifications

• Graduate of a state approved school of nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• IL RN License CPR BLS issued by American Heart Association.
• 2 yrs RN experience in perioperative care - Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients during the perioperative period.
• Functions as patient advocate.
• Assesses the surgical environment for patient safety concerns and intervenes with the team to facilitate surgery.
• May orient new staff, lead educational programs, and manage supplies/equipment.
