Job summary

UW Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric perioperative patients and their families at East Madison Hospital in Madison, WI. The role includes evaluating patient responses to care against established goals, with 60% FTE and 8/10 day/evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• 6 months of current surgical general care or emergency department experience required.
• 2 years of current independent PACU, critical care, or ICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric perioperative patients and their families.
• Evaluate patient's responses to care based on effectiveness of nursing interventions/actions in relationship to established goals.
