Job summary

Shift runs 06:30–15:00, 8 hours per shift, with responsibilities across initial assessments, care planning, and discharge planning. Provides a platform to deliver age-appropriate patient care with safety and quality aligned to unit standards.

Qualifications

• Current RN license required.
• BLS Certification and ACLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement patient care for the defined age group.
• Perform initial assessments and establish priorities based on patient age, symptoms and psychosocial needs.
• Develop and implement an individualized plan of care within Nursing Standards of Care.
• Reassess patients to identify progress and need for intervention.
• Provide patient education and discharge planning.
• Document timely interventions and evaluate the care plan.
