Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree in nursing or higher level nursing degree (BSN required within 5 years from start date)
• License/Certification: Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
• Current CPR Certification (BLS)
• ACLS within ninety days of start date
• PALS within ninety days of start date

Responsibilities

• Renders professional nursing care to provide quality patient care.
• Assess patients’ condition, recognize deviations, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, and record observations.
• Delegate appropriate patient care tasks to other staff.
• Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals.
