Job summary

St. Catherine of Siena Hospital, part of Catholic Health, seeks a Periop Specialist to lead data collection, dashboard design, and performance monitoring across Perioperative Services. You will drive quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while partnering with service-line leaders.

Qualifications

• RN with NY license required.
• BSN preferred.
• CNOR or CPHQ preferred.
• 3–5 years perioperative clinical experience.
• Experience with quality improvement, data analytics, or regulatory processes preferred.
• Knowledge of PI methodologies preferred.
• Familiarity with NYSDOH, CMS, NYS standards preferred.
• Experience developing dashboards/reports.
• Ability to analyze data for improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead data collection, chart abstraction, and medical record review across Perioperative Services.
• Develop and maintain quality dashboards and scorecards for key perioperative metrics.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop quality indicators.
• Assist with data submissions for regulatory and accreditation bodies.
• Support audits and regulatory reviews.
• Provide training on documentation and PI workflows.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation.
• Identify trends and communicate findings to leadership.
