Job summary

ThedaCare is seeking a compassionate RN to join the Neenah surgical/procedural unit. You will provide evidence-based nursing care across the patient journey, from pre-op to recovery, ensuring safety and a positive patient experience in a fast-paced setting.

Scheduled for (4) 8-hour shifts per week with on-call 1-2x biweekly and every 7th weekend. Wisconsin RN licensure required; ADN with BSN preferred and ACLS/PALS within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Current Wisconsin RN Licensure.
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire date.
• PALS within 6 months of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process, evidence-based practice to assess patients’ condition and plan care.
• Plans care in collaboration with the interprofessional team to meet patient needs.
• Demonstrates clinical expertise in nursing functions across the assigned specialty.
• Identifies ways to improve patient experience while lowering costs.
• Contributes to a professional environment with mentoring and development.
• Provides consultation and maintains positive relationships with physicians and team members.
