Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience in surgical services or patient support.
• Understanding of OR terminology and protocols.
• Ability to operate and inspect non-clinical equipment and identify issues.

Responsibilities

• Assist with operating room setup and ensure equipment and supplies are available and in proper working order.
• Support room turnover between procedures by cleaning and restocking per protocols.
• Transport patients to and from the operating room and perioperative areas.
• Gather and deliver required equipment and supplies to the surgical team during procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and assist with organization of the surgical support areas.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and environmental protocols to maintain a clean and safe surgical environment.
• Communicate effectively with surgical, nursing, and support staff to ensure seamless operations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
