The role involves perioperative care for patients, functioning as both circulator and scrub nurse, and ensuring sterile technique and patient safety. Qualifications
- Licensure: 1 full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory
- The Associate Degree Nursing (ADN), Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN), or Master of Science degree in Nursing (MSN) must be fully accredited by ACEN or CCNE
- The Registered Nurses (Operating Room) plan, direct and coordinate the care of every patient undergoing operative and other invasive procedures
Responsabilités
- Plan, direct and coordinate care for patients undergoing operative and invasive procedures
- Function as circulator and scrub nurse in the Operating Room
- Maintain knowledge of ANA Standards, VHA Directives, and SOPs
- Lead staff and collaborate with interdisciplinary team to achieve the plan of care
- Ensure sterile surgical field and safe use of instruments and equipment
