Job summary

Ascension in Milwaukee area seeks a RN leader in Perioperative, Pain and Wound Management. The role focuses on ensuring regulatory compliance, improving patient care delivery, and directing staff development.

You will monitor budgets, hire and train team members, and implement policies to support efficient health services. Ideal candidates have RN licensure in Wisconsin, BLS certification, and at least 3 years of experience with cumulative leadership.

Qualifications

• RN license from Wisconsin Board of Nursing required prior to hire
• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire required (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted)

Responsibilities

• Ensures compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements for self and unit(s).
• Identifies and resolves issues affecting the delivery of patient care services for the assigned unit(s).
• Develops and implements policies and procedures to guarantee efficient and effective delivery of health services in the unit(s).
• Monitors and adheres to budget; approves or monitors expenditures, purchases and other actions to ensure budget compliance.
• Conducts hiring, training, directing, counseling, development and evaluating of staff.
