Job summary

The MLK Community Hospital is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager for Perioperative Services. In this role, you will oversee clinical nursing practice across Pre-op, OR, PACU and GI/Endoscopy, and manage staffing, education, quality, safety, and patient experience.

Requirements include a BSN, minimum five years perioperative nursing with at least two years in leadership; CNOR/ASPAN preferred; BLS/ACLS; bilingual in Spanish is a plus. This is a full-time position based in Los Angeles.

Qualifications

• BSN required; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum five years of perioperative nursing experience.
• Two years of leadership or supervisory experience required.
• CNOR or ASPAN certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor perioperative nursing staff across OR, Pre-op, PACU and GI/Endoscopy.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and MLKCH policies.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling and patient safety initiatives.
• Promote quality improvement and effective communication with multi-disciplinary teams.
