Job summary

Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager for Perioperative Services. The role oversees nursing practice from Pre-op to PACU, ensuring quality, safety, and patient satisfaction while advancing staff competency and regulatory compliance.

The candidate must have a BSN, five years in an acute perioperative setting, and at least two years in a leadership role. CNOR or ASPAN is preferred, with bilingual skills (Spanish) considered an asset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required; Master’s in nursing preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of clinical nursing experience in an acute perioperative setting (OR, PACU).
• Two (2) years leadership/supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates positive relationships to promote teamwork and quality patient care.
• Participation in hospital committees and unit staff meetings.
• Implements quality and performance improvement plans and reports findings.
