Job summary

FOX VALLEY ORTHOPEDICS seeks a qualified RN for perioperative care. The role involves assessing patients pre- and post-op, developing individualized care plans, and coordinating with surgeons and staff to ensure safe, effective outcomes.

The position requires RN licensure in Nebraska or a compact state, with BLS/ACLS/PALS required or to be obtained within 90 days of hire. A minimum of 1+ year perioperative or related experience is preferred and strong organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nursing license in Nebraska or an eligible compact state.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS required or obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs an initial and ongoing assessment to determine the patient’s nursing care needs.
• Develops, reviews, revises and individualizes the plan of care for optimum outcomes.
• Implements interventions safely and in accordance with the care plan.
• Evaluates patient response to care and interventions for outcomes.
• Maintains professional behavior and compliance with safety policies and regulatory requirements.
• Participates in performance improvement activities and department meetings.
• Follows hospital policies and procedures; performs other duties as assigned.
