Stanford University’s Purdon Lab seeks a Clinical Research Coordinator Associate (Fixed-term 2 years) to coordinate perioperative clinical studies, including preoperative, operating room, and PACU activities. The role involves data collection, EEG/MRI processing, neuropsychological testing, and regulatory compliance within Stanford hospital settings.

The CRCA will manage study documentation, recruit participants, and coordinate budgets and communications with sponsors.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact with research participants, sponsors, and regulatory agencies.
• Determine eligibility of and gather consent from study participants according to protocol.
• Coordinate collection of study specimens and processing.
• Collect and manage patient and laboratory data for clinical research projects.
• Ensure compliance with research protocols and regulatory submissions.
• Assemble study kits for visits and monitor scheduling of procedures.
• Monitor expenditures and adherence to study budgets.
• Interact with the principal investigator to ensure patient safety.
• Ensure essential documentation and recording of data per requirements.
• Participate in monitor visits and regulatory audits.
