Berkshire Health Systems is seeking a Peri-Operative Materials Implant Specialist at North Adams Regional Hospital. The role coordinates supply chain, surgeons, surgical booking, and education for the OR, Endoscopy, and Central Sterile to ensure availability of implants and supplies.

The position requires 5 years in Sterile Processing or related roles, aseptic technique, and Meditech experience. Full-time, day shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years at a hospital or equivalent facility as Sterile Processing Tech, CST, or OR RN preferred.
• Knowledge and application of sterile technique is required.
• Familiarity with basic surgical procedures, instruments, and anatomy.
• Experience with surgical scheduling/booking and vendor coordination preferred.
• Must demonstrate professional communication with internal/external contacts.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate between supply chain, surgeons, surgical booking and education for OR, Endoscopy, and Central Sterile.
• Ensure availability of specialty surgical supplies and implants; manage PAR levels and trends.
• Assemble case carts daily to ensure accurate utilization from supply and central sterile.
• Work with the Circulating Nurse as part of the surgical patient advocate team.
