Qualifications

• BSN required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 2 years perioperative experience in circulating/OR setting.
• Current state RN licensure is required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS within six months if performing moderate/procedural sedation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement orientation for new hires.
• Assist education caregivers in assigning unit preceptors.
• Assist in interviewing new caregivers.
• Complete probationary performance evaluations for new hires.
• Participate in annual evaluations with unit managers.
• Coordinate continuing education and training programs.
• Assist in coordinating programs with local colleges and universities.
• Perform patient care up to 20% of work time in area of clinical expertise.
• Actively assist management with ensuring caregiver compliance with regulatory requirements.

What You’ll Do

Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required

Experience:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
