SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY seeks a qualified Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care to patients and families. You will be part of a team delivering comprehensive care and planning patient outcomes.

The role requires RN licensure in NYS and CPR certification; OR experience is preferred. The position is full-time with varied shifts, including days/evenings/nights and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• RN licensure as required by NYS Education Department.
• Current CPR certification.

Job Summary:

Provides professional nursing care to patients/families and the community. Accomplishes this by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care and supervising the work of the licensed practical nurses, ancillary staff and students assigned to the unit

Minimum Qualifications:

RN licensure as outlined by NYS Education Department. Meets NYS Civil Service requirements. Currently CPR certified.

Preferred Qualifications:

OR experience preferred.

Work Days:

Full‑Time (40 hours per week),Monday-Friday, days/evening/nights w/ weekends and holidays per unit needs with call responsibility.
