Job summary

Infinisource Consulting Solutions is seeking a Behavior Nurse in Maryland to plan and deliver patient care across the perioperative pathway. The role collaborates with the surgical team to develop individualized care plans and conducts pre-operative assessments, including history review and physical exams.

The ideal candidate holds an accredited nursing degree, is licensed as an RN in Maryland (or compact state), and maintains BLS certification with at least two years of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program; basic professional nursing degree (with requirement to obtain a BSN/MSN within a specific time frame)
• Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State as a Registered Nurse
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• At least 2 year of nursing experience

Responsibilities

• The Behavior Nurse plans and delivers patient care
• Collaborates with the surgical team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
• Perform pre-operative assessments, including reviewing patient histories and conducting physical examinations
• Perform circulating functions including monitoring, recording and communication of patient condition
• Monitor patients' vital signs and ensure their safety and comfort throughout the surgical process
• Assist with specimen collection, processing, and documentation
• Educate patients and family
• Plan continuum of care
