Job summary

InfiniSource Consulting Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Behavior Nurse to plan and deliver patient care within a surgical setting. You will collaborate with the surgical team to create individualized care plans, perform pre-operative assessments, and monitor patient condition throughout the process.

The role requires RN licensure in Maryland or a compact state, BLS certification, and at least two years of nursing experience. A BSN/MSN within a specified timeframe is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program; basic professional nursing degree (with requirement to obtain a BSN/MSN within a specific time frame).
• Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• At least 2 year of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• The Behavior Nurse plans and delivers patient care.
• Collaborates with the surgical team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
• Perform pre-operative assessments, including reviewing patient histories and conducting physical examinations.
• Perform circulating functions including monitoring, recording and communication of patient condition.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and ensure their safety and comfort throughout the surgical process.
• Assist with specimen collection, processing, and documentation.
• Educate patients and family.
• Plan continuum of care.
