Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Charge Auditor for the Perioperative Services department. The role involves daily data entry, billing reconciliation, and audit support within EPIC/OpTime and Patcom systems. You will verify charges, coordinate with purchasing, and ensure accuracy across CDM codes.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in hospital billing or charge auditing.
• Experience with EPIC/OpTime and CDM management is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Reconcile patient records with surgery schedules and billing data.
• Verify chargeable items against invoices for accuracy.
• Enter charges in EPIC/OpTime and update CDM as needed.
• Research discrepancies and apply corrections.
• Assist internal/external audits and document findings.
• Coordinate with Perioperative Purchasing for billable items.
• Maintain on-site paper records for 12 months and transfer monthly.
