Boston Medical Center is hiring a Peri Operative Assistant for the Operating Room/IP area. This role involves maintaining a safe and sanitary environment while assisting with the clean-up of surgical areas and preparing for procedures.

Peri Operative Assistant – Operating Room / IPP
40 hours, rotate Day/Evening, every 3rd weekend (7 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.)
Under general supervision, assists in the clean‑up of operating rooms and associated surgical areas, and prepares rooms for surgical procedures. Maintains a safe and sanitary environment by performing cleaning and disinfecting tasks, proper storage and handling of equipment, and stocking supplies according to hospital/department policy and procedures.
High school diploma or state high‑school equivalency (GED). Additional training beyond high school preferred.
Working knowledge of basic housekeeping and cleaning procedures, particularly as it relates to surgical areas. On‑the‑job training will be provided.
Compensation Range: $20.68 – $25.20 per hour.
