Job summary

You will work evenings in a fast-paced operating room, maintain sterility standards, and collaborate with nurses, anesthesiologists, and CRNAs to uphold patient-centered care and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6 months hospital experience required; anesthesia tech experience preferred.
• Knowledge of anesthesia equipment and infection control policies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates in perioperative anesthesia care to ensure safety and efficiency of care.
• Transfers patients from stretcher to bed as needed.
• Attaches vital signs and related monitoring devices to the patient.
• Collaborates with the Surgical Team in positioning patients for procedures.
• Assists in intubation under supervision of the anesthetist/anesthesiologist.
• Maintains anesthesia equipment and supplies in all locations where anesthesia is administered.
• Coordinates requests from the anesthesia team for items needed during procedures.
• Maintains par levels of gas tanks and keeps equipment in working order.
