AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking a qualified Anesthesiologist Assistant for a full-time, day-shift role. You will evaluate patients pre-operatively, plan anesthesia with the MD, and administer anesthetics per established protocols to ensure high-quality care.

The position requires AA certification, BLS, ACLS, and MMSc/MSA/MSA-related master’s level education, with 2+ years of experience preferred in a supportive, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Anesthesia or MMSc/MSA as stated.
• Anesthesiologist Assistant certification required.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates pre-operative patient by interview and exam and plans anesthesia.
• Formulates patient-specific anesthesia care plan with MD.
• Administers anesthetics per established protocols.
• Monitors intraoperative condition and adjusts care as needed.
• Performs post-anesthesia care and pain management.
• Documents peri-anesthesia care timely and accurately.
