Job summary

Specialized Dental Partners seeks a Periodontist Associate to provide specialized periodontal care within a patient-centered, team-focused practice.

You will collaborate with dentists and specialists to develop comprehensive treatment plans, educate patients, and stay abreast of the latest periodontal technologies and methods. A supportive environment with opportunities for growth and leadership is offered.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an accredited dental school.
• Currently enrolling in or completion of a periodontics residency program.
• State licensure as a periodontist (preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to high-quality patient care.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat periodontal conditions.
• Perform scaling and root planing, gum surgeries, and other periodontal procedures.
• Collaborate with dentists, hygienists, and specialists to create personalized treatment plans.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care.
• Stay current with advancements in periodontics and dental technology.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
