Job summary

Millennium Perio Jackson in Chicago, IL is seeking a Periodontist Associate to join a state-of-the-art, patient-centric practice. You will provide specialized periodontal care and work closely with general dentists and other specialists to deliver comprehensive oral health solutions.

Ideal candidates possess a DMD or DDS from an accredited school and are enrolled in or have completed a periodontics residency; state licensure is preferred.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an accredited dental school.
• Currently enrolling in or completion of a periodontics residency program.
• State licensure as a periodontist is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat periodontal conditions, including gingivitis and periodontitis.
• Perform scaling and root planning, gum surgeries, and other periodontal procedures.
• Collaborate with dentists, hygienists and specialists to create personalized treatment plans.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care.
• Stay current with advancements in periodontics and dental technology.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
