Westphalia Holdings in Sacramento, CA, seeks a Periodontist with advanced surgical capabilities to travel to Reno, NV about twice per month for scheduled surgical days. You will join an established, dentist-owned private group with a built-in referral network and pre-coordinated cases.
The role centers on complex implant placement, surgical extractions, bone grafting, IV sedation, and other advanced periodontal procedures, while maintaining your Sacramento base and existing commitments.
Travel to Reno Twice Monthly | Stacked Surgical Days | Significant Daily Production Potential | IV Sedation | Complex Implants | Private Practice
Are you a surgically driven Sacramento-area Periodontist interested in adding highly productive specialty days without building another referral network from scratch?
Our confidential, dentist-owned private group is seeking an experienced Periodontist with advanced surgical capabilities to travel from the Sacramento region to Reno, Nevada approximately twice per month for dedicated, pre-scheduled surgical days.
The goal is simple: build and stack the schedule before you arrive.
You’ll step into an established internal referral network of Pediatric Dentists and high-producing General Dentists, with cases coordinated in advance so your time in Reno can be focused on surgery—not generating referrals, filling the schedule, or managing administrative headaches.
We are specifically seeking a Periodontist comfortable performing a broad surgical scope including complex implant placement, surgical extraction of fully impacted third molars, bone grafting, and in-office IV sedation.
This position is specifically being recruited for a Periodontist who wants to remain based in the Sacramento / Northern California market while adding productive surgical days in Reno.
Reno is close enough to Northern California to make this a practical recurring opportunity without requiring a permanent move.
Our team will work to identify, treatment coordinate, and schedule appropriate specialty cases ahead of your clinical days.
The objective is to create a concentrated surgical schedule that may include:
This is not simply a traditional periodontal maintenance position.
We are looking for a Periodontist whose training and clinical experience allow them to handle a meaningful portion of the advanced surgical cases that would otherwise be referred outside the organization.
For an experienced Periodontist performing implants, impacted thirds, grafting, sedation, and other advanced procedures, the model is designed to create highly productive clinical days rather than a traditional part-time specialty schedule.
You’ll practice within established Reno facilities supported by experienced clinical and administrative teams.
The organization is committed to supporting advanced surgical dentistry, including:
Our referring doctors and administrative teams will work collaboratively to identify appropriate cases and prepare the schedule prior to each visit.
You’ll have the freedom to determine appropriate treatment, evaluate which cases fit your clinical scope, and practice according to your professional judgment.
The position is initially structured around approximately two Reno visits per month, but leadership views advanced surgical and periodontal services as an important long-term growth opportunity.
For the right Periodontist, future opportunities may include:
The patient relationships and referring providers are already in place. We’re looking for the right specialist to help us expand what can be treated internally.
For specialists based in Sacramento and Northern California, Reno offers a unique opportunity to access an additional surgical market while maintaining your primary home and professional base in California.
Rather than relocating or opening another practice, you can travel into an established organization where the patients, referral network, clinical infrastructure, and support team are already in place.
Come to Reno, operate from a prepared schedule, and return home without taking on the overhead and administrative burden of building another practice.
