Job description

Seeking an outstanding Associate Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon with strong interpersonal skills to join an established, full-scope Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery practice in the Greater Sacramento Area. High surgical volume, implant-focused practice, competitive compensation, and significant room for growth!

Job Description
Build surgical volume. Advance your career. Grow into full-arch surgery.

An established, high-volume Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery practice in the Greater Sacramento Area is seeking a skilled, motivated Associate Oral Surgeon to join its growing team.

This role is heavily focused on traditional oral surgery with consistent implant placement, while offering structured exposure to full-arch dental implant surgery (All-on-X) in a high-volume, well-supported clinical environment.

You will spend the majority of your time performing core oral surgery procedures-with implants as a routine part of your day-while gaining progressive, hands-on exposure to full-arch cases alongside experienced surgeons.

This position is ideal for surgeons who want strong surgical experience, predictable volume, and income stability, with the opportunity to grow into advanced implant and full-arch cases at a comfortable pace.

Not located in the Greater Sacramento Area? We still encourage you to apply. Relocation assistance and signing bonuses are available for the right candidate.

Compensation & Earning Potential
  • $400,000-$1,000,000+ annually, based on experience, schedule, and case mix
  • Strong base compensation driven by consistent traditional oral surgery volume
  • Production-based bonuses tied to productivity and implant growth
  • Reliable daily surgical schedule
  • Upside tied to increased implant and full-arch participation

Your earnings scale with volume, efficiency, and clinical growth-not uncertainty.

  • Maintain a strong mix of general oral surgery and implant procedures
  • Participate in patient consultations for both oral surgery and implant cases, alongside Patient Advisors
  • Collaborate with restorative doctors on implant and full-arch treatment planning
  • Review CBCTs, surgical guides, and digital plans
  • Complete accurate surgical documentation
Training, Support & Clinical Resources
  • Structured onboarding focused on efficiency, volume, and workflow
  • Mentorship from surgeons experienced in both traditional oral surgery and full-arch implants

  • Opportunity to grow into complex cases when you're ready
Schedule & Structure
  • Full-time or part-time options

  • Completion of a U.S. oral and maxillofacial surgery training program
  • Active, unrestricted California dental license or eligibility for licensure
  • DEA registration
