Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to operate ultrasound-scanning equipment and produce records for infant to adult patients. The role includes performing procedures within the Center for Perinatal Medicine, focusing on maternal and neonatal care.

Required RDMS or registry eligibility and CPR certification; preferred graduates from an accredited Ultrasound Technology program with OB/GYN experience. Working hours are 8:30 AM–5:00 PM with rotating weekend duties.

Qualifications

• RDMS or registry-eligible in OB/GYN ultrasound.
• CPR certification.
• Graduate from an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology (preferred).
• Experience in OB/GYN ultrasound preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates ultrasound-scanning equipment to produce records of designated portions of the human anatomy for infant, pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients.
• Performs ultrasound procedures in the Center for Perinatal Medicine on maternal and neonatal patients.

Responsibilities

Operates ultrasound-scanning equipment to produce records of designated portions of the human anatomy of infant, pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients. Ultrasound Technologists working in the Center for Perinatal Medicine perform ultrasound procedures on select groups of maternal and neonatal patients.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Registered in OB/GYN by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (RDMS) or registry‑eligible.
• Certified in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

PREFERRED

• Graduate from an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology.
• Prior experience in OB/GYN ultrasound.

Work Hours:

8:30AM-5PM
