A children's health organization in Palo Alto seeks an experienced Ultrasound Technician to conduct procedures and ensure equipment functionality. The ideal candidate will have ARDMS certification and a minimum of three years in the field. Responsibilities include patient interaction and equipment maintenance in a supportive healthcare environment.
JOB SUMMARY

Under the direct supervision of the supervisor/manager and a physician in the department, who is responsible for the use and interpretation of ultrasound procedures, conducts sonographic procedures on assigned patients through the use of ultrasound diagnostic equipment. Does not supplant the physician in the sphere of decision making required to establish a diagnosis, but will assist in gathering sonographic and other medical data necessary to reach a medical diagnosis and decision. Ensures that equipment is constantly functional and ready for immediate use. Maintains records and reports on equipment, procedures performed and billing.
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.

Experience: Three (3) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience

Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role.
Salary within our ranges may also be determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities, as required by the role, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
Typically, new team members join at the minimum to mid salary range.
Minimum to Midpoint Range (Hourly): $81.84 to $92.79
