Qualifications

• Successful completion of an approved curriculum in diagnostic medical sonography or equivalent educational background.
• Current registration (or Registry‑eligible) by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Basic Life Support and CPR certification are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all requested sonographic examinations as ordered by the attending physician.
• Greet patients and explain ultrasound procedures.
• Provide summary findings to the physician to aid in patient diagnosis and management.
• Monitor and recognize any abnormal changes in patients’ conditions and respond appropriately.
