Job Description
Positions are Monday through Friday, day hours. No on-call required.
Job Summary
Performs ultrasound and diagnostic procedures on high-risk obstetrical patients while adhering to all organizational and unit policies and procedures, as well as following the patient schedule in a timely manner. He/She is competent to provide care for patients from adolescents to adults.
Essential Functions
Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required):
Annual Trophon EPR high-level disinfection competency training.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Education: Graduate of an AIUM approved ultrasound program.
Experience: 1+ years of perinatal/obstetrical ultrasound experience. Amnio and CVS experience preferred. Experience in an antenatal testing center is a plus.
Minimum Certifications, Registration or License Requirements:
Current RDMS with OB/GYN specialty or eligibility (must obtain OB/GYN specialty within 6 months of hire and maintain certification). NT and cervical length certification preferred (must obtain within 6 months). Fetal echo certification preferred (must obtain within 1 year).
Additional Information
EMR experience preferred. Strong computer skills, knowledge of medical terminology, excellent communication skills, and professional interaction with healthcare professionals are required.
