Job summary
AdventHealth Shawnee Mission in Kansas is seeking a Perinatal Ultrasound Technologist to optimize fetal imaging and ensure accurate assessments. You will perform thorough ultrasound exams, communicate results to the medical team, and maintain high standards of patient safety and comfort.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical or vocational training required.
- Graduate from a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
- 3+ years perinatal sonography experience required.
- ARDMS/ARRT OB/GYN certification or eligibility.
- NT credential preferred.
Responsibilities
- Optimizes ultrasound settings for accurate image acquisition.
- Differentiate normal from abnormal fetal anatomy.
- Identify markers indicative of aneuploidy.
- Communicate findings to healthcare providers.
- Maintain patient comfort and safety during ultrasound procedures.
- Keeps accurate patient records.
- Collaborate with the medical team for comprehensive care.
- Participate in continuing education to stay current.
