Job summary

UCLA Health is seeking a Per Diem Break Relief RN for Perinatal care on a Float Team with Day Shift. This role floats to multiple UCLA Health units (including UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital and Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center) per patient census and staff skills.

Qualified candidates hold a California RN license with a BSN/MSN, have 3 years of Perinatal RN experience (or 2 years with UCLA Health) and current BLS; NRP and NCC are preferred. Per diem schedule covers weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Current California RN license, BSN or MSN degree required.
• 3 years of Perinatal RN experience or 2 years UCLA Health Perinatal experience (labor, delivery, postpartum) required.
• BLS from ARC or AHA required; NRP and NCC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for Perinatal patients (Labor, Delivery, Postpartum).
• Supervise nursing interventions and assign related tasks to team members.
• Assess patient, family and staff learning needs; deliver appropriate clinical education.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
