**The Position**
The Perinatal Quality Liaison supports our maternal health device designed to control and treat abnormal postpartum hemorrhaging (PPH). The role involves engaging with Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) and perinatal quality organizations to promote the adoption of perinatal quality standards and protocols. The liaison acts as the primary contact for managing and implementing quality standards in hospitals and IDNs, aligning with national and state policies.

**Job Description**
The Perinatal Quality Liaison collaborates with Strategic Account Managers, Regional Managers, and Territory Account Executives to educate on perinatal quality standards. Responsibilities include engaging with state perinatal quality leaders, hospital and IDN perinatal quality teams (including C-Suite), Quality Improvement departments, Informatics, Societies, Nursing, and Healthcare Provider leadership to promote standards and guidelines, and to present relevant health economic and clinical data related to PPH, maternal morbidity, and mortality.

The role also involves disseminating product information, supporting perinatal quality initiatives, and managing relationships with health entities within the territory.

**Key Responsibilities**

  1. Educate on Standards and Protocols: Develop and implement standards, bundles, and toolkits for perinatal care.
  2. Guidelines and Policy Development: Drive the evolution of guidelines to improve perinatal care quality.
  3. Perinatal Quality Program Education: Provide education on standards and initiatives.
  4. Resource for Standards: Serve as an expert resource on quality standards questions.
  5. State-Level Engagement: Attend conferences and collaborate with state perinatal organizations.
  6. Customer Collaboration: Work with healthcare providers to assess and advise on postpartum hemorrhage best practices, policies, and protocols.
  7. Data Collection and Evaluation: Educate on data collection and outcome monitoring.
  8. Health Economics and Outcomes: Present economic data related to PPH and maternal health.
  9. KOL Development: Build relationships with key opinion leaders in perinatal care.

**Ideal Candidate Qualities**

Required:

  • Executive presence to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Experience with societies, especially state-level perinatal organizations.
  • Expertise in quality standards and protocols.
  • Leadership and teamwork skills.
  • Policy creation and implementation acumen.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Organon’s medical devices or similar maternal health products.

**Qualifications**

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related; advanced degree preferred.
  • At least 5 years in perinatal quality improvement or related field.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Location: Near major airports, with 75% travel required.

The territory includes Fresno, CA; LA North and South, CA; Portland, OR; San Francisco, CA; Seattle, WA; Tacoma, WA. Candidate must be local to these areas.
