Job summary

Vanderbilt Health in Nashville seeks a Coordinator for Ob/Gyn & Perinatal disease specialty. The role leads network coordination across VUMC Affiliate Hospitals and community sites, ensuring disease-specific certification and evidence-based care.

Responsibilities include maintaining compliance with TJC standards, supporting education for clinicians, coordinating discharge planning, and reporting outcomes to drive program goals across the regional perinatal center.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Active Tennessee-issued Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant clinical and/or care coordination experience.
• High-risk birth experience strongly preferred.
• Schedule & Travel Monday–Friday, daytime hours; travel up to 100 miles.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a disease-specific obstetric/perinatal network with hospitals and physicians.
• Assure TJC certification and licensing requirements are maintained; collaborate with Accreditation & Standards.
• Support education and training for health care professionals.
• Facilitate Continuum of Care with follow-up and post-discharge planning.
• Collect, report outcomes data for the specified population.
• Collaborate with PCC leadership and multidisciplinary teams to meet program goals.
• Provide obstetric and neonatal training across middle TN.
• Participate in data collection and regional perinatal center activities.
