Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers seeks an MSS RN to coordinate pre- and postnatal care, provide education, and arrange referrals for OB clients and First Steps. The role includes home visits, collaboration with the MSS team, and coordinating with external providers as needed.

The RN must be BSN/RN-certified with maternal/infant experience, bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred, and capable of conducting visits in diverse settings while protecting client confidentiality.

Qualifications

• BSN/RN with maternal/infant, community or public health experience.
• BLS CPR certification within 90 days of hire and ongoing.
• Experience in patient counseling and education; lactation education desirable.
• Ability to work in home visits and coordinate with the MSS team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pre- and postnatal risk assessment, teaching and referrals.
• Provide education on pregnancy, nutrition, breastfeeding and childbirth prep.
• Triaging needs and scheduling visits with Sea Mar MSS team and partners.
• Maintain client confidentiality and cultural sensitivity.
