Job summary

The Oklahoma State Department of Health invites applications for a Perinatal and Reproductive Health Intern position in the PRH Epidemiology area. This part-time, temporary role supports data analysis and technical reporting under the supervision of the FSPS Assessment Administrative Program Manager.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of epidemiologic methods, statistical theories, and analysis techniques applied to population-based data.
• Knowledge of public health programs and ability to apply epidemiologic skills to survey design and interpretation.
• Pursuing a master's degree is desirable.
• Applicants must provide documentation and be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support analysis of Emergency Department data to explore Maternal Morbidity patterns.
• Evaluate the short-term goals accomplished by the work groups of the Maternal Health Taskforce.
• Explore trends related to acute renal failure and other top causes of maternal morbidity and mortality.
• Being present at the office is an essential function of the job.
• Other duties as assigned.
