Mercyhealth is seeking a Diabetes Educator to support pregnant patients with diabetes management, nutrition education, and meter training. The role collaborates with Maternal-Fetal Medicine to craft care plans and improve outcomes.

Responsibilities include training staff and students, maintaining licensure CEUs/CME, and contributing to program development and quality initiatives. Proficiency with EPIC is required, with emphasis on accurate charge entry.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Dietetics/Food and Nutrition and completion of an accredited supervised practice program.
• State licensure as a Registered/Licensed Dietitian in WI and IL; CDCES certification required.
• If not CDCES upon hire, 15 CME per year; CDCES must be obtained within 2 years.

Responsabilidades

• Educate perinatal patients on nutrition, meter training, and disease management.
• Collaborate with Maternal-Fetal Medicine physicians to develop and implement care plans.
• Serve as a system resource for diabetes management in pregnancy; participate in program development.
