Job summary

La Clínica del Pueblo in Washington, DC and Hyattsville, MD is seeking a compassionate Care Team RN to join our Sexual and Reproductive Health program. This full-time role supports an outpatient clinic network delivering prenatal, obstetric, gynecologic, family planning, and sexual health services with a multidisciplinary team.

The RN will perform assessments, triage, patient education, and coordination of care across two sites, while promoting health equity and culturally responsive care.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in MD and DC with licenses required within 90 days of hire.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• At least 3 years of obstetrics/prenatal clinic or labor and delivery experience, including NSTs.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong clinical assessment and teamwork.
• Commitment to health equity and serving vulnerable populations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans with obstetric providers and other care team members.
• Triage prenatal, postpartum, and gynecologic patients by phone and in person.
• Perform prenatal intake assessments, nursing visits, NSTs, blood pressure monitoring, and other nursing services.
• Provide education on pregnancy, postpartum care, gestational diabetes, hypertension, contraception, and mental health.
• Coordinate care across internal and external providers for continuity of care.
