Job summary

Nemours IMFH is seeking a Perinatal Bereavement Coordinator to support the Fetal Care Center and Advanced Delivery Unit. You will lead bereavement coordination and provide family-centered psychosocial support across inpatient and outpatient settings, including memory-making and resources for families facing perinatal loss.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Certified Child Life Specialist and/or Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist required.
• 3 years full-time work experience required.
• Perinatal Bereavement and Grief Certification; Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced bereavement coordination and psychosocial support for families across prenatal to postpartum.
• Coordinate memory-making activities and bereavement resources.
• Develop and maintain community partnerships to expand bereavement services.
• Support staff with peer-to-peer education and debriefing.
• Ensure accurate documentation in the patient's medical record and research-related records.
