Position Summary |
Horizons-Wake sees an Outpatient Perinatal Therapist to provide gender and trauma-responsive treatment for pregnant and parenting women and their infants impacted by substance use disorders, trauma, violence, and incarceration. The primary duties include facilitating comprehensive in-person and telehealth clinical assessments to obtain substance use and mental health diagnoses and developing a clinical recommendation using the ASAM Risk Rating Scale and LOCUS Tool to identify the appropriate level of treatment. Additionally, this person will work within an interdisciplinary team to ensure clients/families are connected to care. Other tasks include managing a referral line and supervising weekly clinical team meetings.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements |
Bachelor's degree in a Human Services discipline with coursework related to the area of assignment. Some positions may require certification to practice as a certified or licensed Clinical Social Worker as required by the North Carolina Social Work Certification Board.

Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience |
A clinical license: LMFT, LCAS, LCSW, or LCMHC or a provisional license of any of the mentioned licenses is required. Prior experience or working knowledge with treating vulnerable populations, women, and/or family interventions.
