Job summary

Tusco, Inc. is seeking an Installer to support perimeter security projects on construction sites.

The role involves installing security components, handling hand and power tools, preparing materials, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment on site. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, strong ability to follow directions, physical stamina to lift up to 100 lbs, and willingness to travel extensively.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to listen to, understand, and follow directions.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions; good written and verbal communication.
• Ability to pass DOT physical, drug test and background checks to access worksite locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of perimeter and electronic security components.
• Operates a wide variety of hand and power tools.
• Prepares tools and materials such as mixing and pouring concrete.
• Cleans and prepares specific areas of jobsite; uses post hole diggers, shovels, rock bars, sledgehammers, concrete saws, demolition saws and drilling equipment.
• Loads and unloads materials and distributes them to appropriate location per crew foreman or project plans.
• Assists with preparation and layout marking using levels, measuring tape, and laser for openings or distances.
• Directs traffic near or around work zones.
• Motions equipment to assist alignment, movement, or adjustment of machinery or materials.
• Cleans jobsite at end of day; proper disposal and storage of materials or equipment.
• Follows all site safety and environmental policies, including PPE requirements.
• Completes all required training including CPR, First Aid, and OSHA courses.
• Cross trains to perform other jobs as needed.
• Cooperates with other team members and performs other related duties.
